BECoME: Our Story
The First International Conference on Biodiversity, Ecology and Conservation of Marine Ecosystems (BECoME-2015) was successfully held in June 2015 at the University of Hong Kong. This first conference attracted 280 participants from 26 countries, and received over 200 abstracts. Building on this success, the Second BECoME Conference will be held during 3-7 January 2022 at City University of Hong Kong. This BECoME-2022 Conference will support the international Convention on Biological Diversity. It will serve as a timely and essential platform for scientists, governmental authorities, environmental practitioners, conservationists and educators to share their latest findings, achievements and views on pressing global marine biodiversity and conservation issues with participants, young researchers and students. The BECoME-2022 will facilitate participants to extend their global network and establish international collaborations.
